Visit to Salon Prive London

The Hurlingham Club London was again host to  Salon Prive, UK’s Luxury Super Car Event &  Concours d’Elegance.

Our own Chief Judge Ben de Boer was privileged to be a guest on the Concours Judging day.

Five times Le Mans winner Derek Bell MBE was among the team of judges who picked this year's Best of Show winner - Hugh Taylor's1932 Alfa Romeo Monza.

Derek will join us in October to be Honorary Chief Judge at Concours d'Elegance Australia.

Reminiscing with Glenn Shorrock!

Concours d'Elegance Australia is shaping up to be a star-studded event with a number of celebrated and famous acts set to entertain on the day. Glenn Shorrock, best known for his time spent in the 1970’s pop band, the Little River Band will be singing some of his greatest hits and for those who haven’t seen Glenn perform live, you are in for a real treat.

Inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Hall of Fame as a solo artist and for his time spent in the Little River Band, few can forget such classics as “Help is on its Way”, “Happy Anniversary Baby” and “Reminiscing”. Willys Overland

Whilst in the process of wrapping up entries, we have noticed what a magnificent and diverse range of cars and motorcycles we have to exhibit on 10.10.10

One such vehicle is a 1913 Willys Overland which is in pristine condition and since being purchased in 1975 by its current owner Les Johnson, has never been driven. Willys was the brand name used by the United States automobile company Willys-Overland Motors, best known for its design and production of military and civilian Jeeps during the twentieth century.

This remarkable vehicle will be on display at Concours d’Elegance Australia and will form part of an amazing array of vehicles that will really need to be seen to be believed.

Upcoming Events

In the lead up to Concours d’Elegance Australia, we will be involved with a number of other exciting car events. Two of these are Shannons Eastern Creek Classsic and All British Day. There will be a fabulous variety of classic, vintage and rare automobiles on display at these events. Our team will be there to support these events and will have information and tickets available for our inaugural event.

Volunteers

Here's a great opportunity to be involved with our inaugural event Concours d’Elegance Australia. Volunteers are the backbone of any major event and Concours d'Elegance will be relying on many enthusiastic club members and other volunteers to assist in a range of roles including administration, marshals, drivers and judges.

Volunteers will be recognised with a uniform and meals. If you are interested in please complete and return the Volunteer Application Form in the forms section of the website or contact us on 1300 22 99 61.
